R.T. Edwards, Queensland’s electrical and computer retailer since 1931 is looking for a casual weekend cashier to join our successful Ipswich Store as well as being able to undertake relief work at our other stores as required.

To be a successful candidate you will possess excellent customer service and telephone skills, data entry skills, cash handling skills, as well as the ability to work within a busy and dynamic environment, and be able to participate in a 7 day roster, comprising of most weekends at our Ipswich store and relief work during the weekdays across all of our stores as required.

You will be reporting to the Store Manager, while maintaining key contact with the various departments.

As a Cashier your duties will include cash desk operations, processing of customer sale contracts and agreements. The duties also include raising service jobs and pickup/ changeover paperwork in line with store policy. Preparing weekly payroll sheets and general administrative duties are involved from time to time as directed by store management.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite would be an advantage in this role.

Additionally you will be self-driven, possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
