R.T.Edwards, Queensland’s electrical and computer retailer since 1931 is looking for a full time experienced Store Manager.

The role involves both developing and implementing sales strategies, which achieve the objectives set out by the Company. In addition to monitoring staff performance, you will promote and have key responsibility for ensuring the high levels of customer service are maintained. You must be available to adhere to a 7 day roster.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager of QLD, the Store Manager will be accountable for:
•    Coaching and developing staff.
•    Achieving sales and financial targets.
•    Ensuring adequate stock levels to meet market demands, and
•    General presentation and housekeeping for the store.

To be a successful applicant you must be able to demonstrate:
•    Previous experience in both retail and a sales management environment.
•    Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish excellent working rapport with staff.
•    A sound understanding of product presentation and visual display.
•    Knowledge of inventory and stock control techniques.
•    Understanding of product costing structures and profit margins.
•    Computer literate and competent in application of Microsoft Office software.
•    Have an understanding and actively promote the application of Occupational Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
•    Ability to monitor sales trends.
